'Jide Aje was educated in Nigeria and the United States.
After earning a Fine Art degree from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife Nigeria,
he relocated to the United States to pursue a career in the creative design field.
'Jide is a relatively recent addition to the Metro Detroit area arts scene.
He is an active member of several arts and cultural organizations.
His first show in the area was with the Redd Apple Gallery, Detroit in 2004.
His studio is based in the City of Hamtramck, Michigan.
